المعنى الاصطلاحي

Extreme anger accompanied with dislike of something and discontent with it.

الشرح المختصر

"Sukht" or "sakhat" (discontent) is a feeling that prompts a person to become extremely angry towards something, along with hating it. “Sukht” is a bad trait that contradicts perfect belief in Allah and His predestination. It can be expressed in words, like when a person screams or curses time upon the strike of a calamity, or expressed in deeds, like tearing one’s garment or pulling out one’s hair. In relation to the divine decree and predestination, people are of three different ranks: contentment is the top rank, patience without contentment lies in the middle, and “sukht” is the lowest.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر

"Sukht": anger, discontentment. Original meaning: dislike. Opposite: "reda" (contentment).
