A person's relatives and members of his household, who provide him with strength and support.
الشرح المختصر
"Usrah" (family) is a group of people who are related by kinship and lineage. The basis for the foundation of a family is the husband and wife, and its broader definition extends to include every person whom a man has to care for and provide for from his ancestors and descendants, such as his father and mother, grandfather and grandmother, sons and daughters, and others.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر
"Usrah": family. Derived from "asara", which refers to one's kin and close relatives and members of his household. Original meaning of "asr": strength.
