‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The closest people to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who invoked the most peace and blessings upon me."
شرح الحديث :
This Hadīth means that the closest people to the Prophet, and the most deserving of his intercession (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection are the ones who often ask Allah to send peace and blessings upon him.
