‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two blessings in which many people incur loss: health and free time."

شرح الحديث :

There are two divine blessings whose true value is not recognized by many people and in which they incur the most tremendous loss. These are the health of the body and free time. A person would not be free to observe acts of worship unless he is financially secure and healthy. One may be financially secure, but physically ill, or the other way around. In fact, a person lacking financial solvency cannot focus on seeking knowledge and performing good deeds, for he is too busy earning livelihood. So if a person enjoys both blessings yet remains reluctant to worship his Lord, he is indeed a loser.
