التعريف
A description of a hadith narrator indicating that he has a small number of narrators in his chain(s) of transmission going up to the prophet. If this is used in relation to another narrator, it indicates shorter distance, and if used in relation to a quality that gives his narration preference to other narrations, it indicates higher quality.
