التعريف
- a description of a hadith implying that its chain of transmission does not fulfil the conditions of acceptability. These conditions are: a continuous chain of transmission, unblemished and accurate narrators, freedom of being at variance with more reliable narrators (i.e. irregularity) and freedom of any cause detracting from its authenticity (i.e. serious flaw).
