الشرح المختصر
"Furoosiyyah" (horsemanship) is the art of horse riding. It includes the horseman’s skill in riding firmly on horseback, whether this is used in work, fighting in the cause of Allah, for sport, or for learning purposes. When Islam came, the Arabs were practicing horsemanship. Islam approved of it and encouraged it because of it being one of the greatest tools of performing jihad in the cause of Allah.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر
"Furoosiyyah": the skill of riding horses. It is derived from "fars", which means stepping on something or tapping it.
