المعنى الاصطلاحي

Missing money whose return to its owner is not hoped for.

الشرح المختصر

"Dimār" (unrecoverable property) is the money whose owner cannot invest or benefit from because it is no longer in his possession without his permission, and he has no hope of retrieving it. For example: a lost camel, lost money, money confiscated by the authorities, usurped money whose owner cannot take it back, money buried in the desert while its whereabouts is unknown to the owner, etc.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر

"Dimār": what is missing and not hoped to be recovered. Derived from "idmār", which means the state of being absent and concealed.
