المعنى الاصطلاحي

Attributes of Allah, Exalted, proved by both textual (Shar`iee) and rational proofs.

الشرح المختصر

"As-Sifaat As-Sam`iyyah Al-`Aqliyyah": are the attributes of Allah, Exalted, proved by both the textual proofs from the Qur'an and Sunnah as well as rational proofs, together with the sound nature, i.e. Allah's Life and Knowledge. Most of Allah's attributes are of this type, especially His affirmitive attributes; although the basic proof for establishing them is the textual proof from the Qur'an and Sunnah. The term is named as such because the textual proofs indicate and guide to those attributes, while their soundness is known by reason as well; so it is incorrect to say that they are only known by textual proofs.
