التعريف

Classes of Muslims with regard to their good practices and their frequency or otherwise. They are of three classes: 1) the ones foremost in good deeds: they attend to what is obligatory, do what is desirable and refrain from what is forbidden or reprehensible; 2) the ones who steer a middle course: they do the obligatory but not the desirable, and they also indulge in what is reprehensible; and 3) the ones who wrong their own souls: they do some of the obligatory and fail to do others, and they refrain from some of the prohibited but indulge in others.
