المعنى الاصطلاحي
The will of Allah Almighty, from which no one is exempt, whether it is related to what is loved or hated.
الشرح المختصر
"Irādah kawniyyah" (Universal Will) is the will of Allah that is related to creation and existence, and which includes all existents and occurrences and everything that happens in this universe from good and evil, belief and disbelief, and obedience and disobedience. This is the type of will people speak of when they say: "What Allah wills to happen will happen, and what He does not will to happen will not happen."
