Six sets of the scriptures of four religions that preceded Islam: two sets of Judaism which are the old testament and the Talmud; one set of Christianity which constitutes the new testament; two sets of Brahman Hinduism, the Vedas and the Manu-Smriti or the laws of Manu; and one set of Persian Zoroastrianism called the Avesta or Zend-Avesta.
